"A Farm on loan from God" "Work with enthusiasm, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people" Eph 6:7

Self Care Boarding:

Self care at our barn will include stall and bedding. You will be maintaining your stall, including cleaning buckets, cobwebs, and stall cleaning. You will need to provide hay and grain for your horse.

We like boarder involvement and as such will be happy to feed and handle turnout for your horse for you in exchange for you taking a turn feeding each week.

Your grain can be stored in our rodent proof bins. Feed will be set up for each feeding out of your grain or you can set it up in baggies. We have containers for boarder use. The bins hold approximately two bags of feed.

Your hay will need to be bundled for each feeding and we have the ability to store several bales at a time in our hay room. We also like to feed hay in slow feed hay bags. This is better for horses metabolism and helps with boredom in the stalls. Boarders need to provide two slow feed bags (we can label them for you) for each horse.
